A World Crying Out for Peace
Our world is in desperate need of more expressions of peace – and more places where we can do the individual work to embody peace within. World peace can only come from a multitude of individuals who are themselves at peace with their lives and those around them. So while there are certainly things we an do on a physical level to assist others, one of the greatest acts of love is to create peace within ourselves.
Sometimes our minds need to know it makes a difference, and there is some empirical evidence to demonstrate this makes sense. One example is the work by Dillbeck, M. C., & Cavanaugh, K. L. (2016). Societal Violence and Collective Consciousness: Reduction of U.S. Homicide and Urban Violent Crime Rates. SAGE Open, 6(2). https://doi.org/10.1177/2158244016637891).
When you add the results of how quantum mechanics wave theory explains we are all truly connected, it isn’t hard to connect the dots. We all make a difference in creating the collective consciousness that we live in.
The Love is Alchemy call this month will include a practice from Quan Yin, the goddess of compassion, and within that process, we will also extend peace and love to those who need it worldwide.
You can get the call-in details by signing up here.
If you’ve been feeling the need to respond to the suffering you’re seeing, or wondering what you could possibly do, join me to experience holding a place of love to those that are in the horrors of acts of war and a call for awakening to those who have so deeply forgotten who they are that they have chosen to war on their own brother and sisters.
Your presence in this world matters, your own acts of love make a difference – wherever they are. If not this circle, find another moment or place to ask yourself what your way of contributing love and peace might be. It’s definitely needed.
The zoom call will be recorded and shared even if you can’t attend at that time. Your presence joining in at any time is appreciated.
